シェアメイトの募集です!映画やドラマのワンシーンに出てきそうなこちらの建物は1、2階はそれぞれものづくり会社さんが使用。そして3階とルーフトップが今回募集のシェアハウス用というエリア分けです。

場所は僕たちも大好きで事務所を構える京都中央卸売市場の場外エリア。この辺りは京都の懐かしい、いわゆる町家などの街並みではなく、倉庫や食品加工の工場などインダストリアルな建物が立ち並ぶエリアです。そんな街の一角に佇む渋いあずき色をした重厚感のある建物。第一印象は”映画でアジトになりそうな場所”でした。そんな建物で暮らすと日々を映画の出演者のような気分で過ごせそうです。

元々アーティスト限定のシェアハウスだった面影なのか各部屋が個性的で面白いです。少し狭く見えますが一人で過ごす分には心地良いサイズ感。自室とは別に共用部にほとんどの設備があると考えるとこの広さで十分ではないでしょうか。シェアハウスと聞くと清掃等が気になるかと思いますが、週に1度共用部の清掃に入りますので当番や掃除の仕方で大きなトラブルになる心配は少ないかと。しかし”清掃が入るから何もしなくてもよい”というわけではありません。そのあたりはマナーやモラルの遵守を。

市場の場外エリアなので早朝は活気がありますが14時頃からは静かで落ち着く二面性がある地域です。建物の東側にBBQ場があるので休日の、特に昼間は部屋によっては声が気になる場合があります。最後に今回の募集の注意点ですが35歳以下という点と、入居前の面談と言ったら少し硬いですが顔合わせを予定しています。上記にご理解いただけるアートやものづくりに関心のある方、同年代との共同生活に興味のある方、この街に興味のある方は是非。

We are looking for share mates! The first and second floors of this building, which looks like a scene out of a movie or TV drama, are used by manufacturing companies. The 3rd floor and the roof top are for the share house.

The location is outside the Kyoto Central Wholesale Market, where we love and have an office. This area is not the nostalgic townscape of Kyoto, with its machiya townhouses and the like, but rather an area lined with industrial buildings such as warehouses and food processing factories. Standing in a corner of the town is a stately, austere, maroon-colored building. My first impression was that it looked like a place that could be used as a hideout in a movie. Living in such a building, you're sure to spend your days feeling like you're in a movie.

Each room is unique and interesting, perhaps reflecting the fact that this was originally a share house for artists only. The rooms may look a bit small, but they are a comfortable size for a single person. Considering that most of the facilities are located in the common area, this room size is probably sufficient. When you hear the word "share house," you may be concerned about cleaning, but the common area is cleaned once a week, so there's little concern that you'll have a big problem with the cleaning duty or the way it's done. However, "just because the cleaning is done doesn't mean you don't have to do anything. Please observe manners and morals in this area.

The area has two sides: it is lively early in the morning, but quiet and calm from around 2:00 p.m. There is a BBQ place on the east side of the building, so on holidays, especially during the daytime, you may hear voices in some rooms. Finally, please note that you must be 35 years old or younger, and that we are planning to have a face-to-face meeting before moving in.
